Upcycling - the act of crafting something useful form trash, one of our favourite crafts. It was the last Sunday of January on a cloudy and windy morning, a perfect setting to chat with newly made friends strolling by. We were at UpMarket, an event organised by Central Singapore CDC, held at Kampong Glam Community Club. We were there to share the message of how easy it is to reduce our use of single use clingwraps with our upcycled beeswax wraps.
These wraps are made from new fabric, scraps from seamstresses and so these scraps are given not only a new lease of life as a food wrap, it also is a good substitute to plastic cling wraps, helping us reduce the use of single use plastic.
Beeswax Wraps - It is super versatile! As a sandwich wrap, a drink cover and so much more!
It is not difficult to adjust your behaviour to adopt a more eco friendly option in your daily routine. If you are inspired to learn how to make your own beeswax wraps, we conduct workshops to share how you can make your own wraps.
Do drop us a mail for corporate or group enquiries and we will be more than happy to fill you in on the details.
